Our Team 

Mie K. Taylor, President

Mie is an *Enrolled Agent and President of Kurihara Taylor Solutions, LLC. A native of Saitama, Japan, Mie came to the States in the early 2000s for graduate school. With her education and various work experiences, she excels in learning new ideas and bringing an international perspective on initiatives.  Prior to launching Kurihara Taylor Solutions, LLC, Mie sharpened her tax expertise on several US military installations, inside and outside the US, meeting military members tax needs with compassion and keen insight on their sacrifices in service of the Nation.

While Mie enjoys working taxes, she also wears many hats day-to-day.  As a spouse of an American Samurai and proud mom of two boys, she also stays busy as an active volunteer at their schools and a member of a financial advisor’s office.  Mie is a Japan Hashi (Chopsticks) Culture Association certified chopstick instructor and the administrator of the Hachiro Kai DC Kendo School (Dojo).  

Mie holds Master’s degrees in Business Administration focusing in marketing and Sports Administration from Ohio University (Athens, Ohio). She also graduated Tokyo Gakugei University (Tokyo, Japan) with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Science. She is a native Japanese speaker that is fluent in English.
